THEODOR REIK - AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED 11/17/1964 - HFSID 274481. New York, New York, 1964 November 17. On his personal imprinted letterhead to Dear Mrs. I would, of course, like to have dinner with you Willy [illegible] and Berthold (sic) Fles at [illegible] (or preferably a Viennese restaurant for instance [two words illegible] 1623 Second Avenue, near my place, or Bancroft 40 West 72d Street) If I dont (sic) hear from you I shall expect your ring around 6 30 on Friday Dec. Reik has crossed off a portion of the imprinted address and written: " 51 " and 86th Street.

Reik, who is noted for his research in such areas as masochism and criminology, founded the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis. His works include The Secret Self (1952), Of Love and Lust (1957), Voices from the Inaudible (1964), Curiosities of the Self (1965) and The Many Faces of Sex (1956). Lightly creased with folds, lower horizontal fold at the upper portions of "Theodor" and the mid-portions of "Reik".
