Letter addressed to Farnese ("Duque Farnese mi muy caro y muy amado hermano"), "brother" of Philip II through his marriage to Margaret of Austria, daughter of Emperor Charles V. Letter signed by the King in which Philip II interferes in the duke's justice by asking him to review a sentence given against certain of his "cavalleros y vasallos". He thus asserts his status as sovereign and lord over the Duchy of Parma and Plaisance which has the status of an imperial fief.] Hiernonimo duque mi muy caro y muy amado hermano.
