Autograph Letter signed: " Bob ", 1 page, 8½x11. Los Angeles, California, 1975 January 19. On personal letterhead to " Dear David ", In full: Sorry for the Delay- Pam Hayes & Ronnie Richards are all set- pam at 400.00 A week Ronnie at 250- plus their rooms & the cast car- Pam's Husband, John, is now working Vegas until December- I'm thinking of using either Dick Stadelman or Tom Elrod- Both from Chicago & Both experienced in the part. Plus room role-should I have them or will you? Crane had earlier been a drummer and disc jockey.

After Hogan, he appeared in a few films, including the title role in Disney's Superdad (1973), and had several TV guest roles. He was murdered in 1978. Crane's life and death are fictionally portrayed in the film Auto Focus (2002), a portrayal from which his family strongly dissents. See more material from these signers.
