An original 8 page manuscript letter, signed by American novelist James T. He is best remembered for his Studs Lonigan trilogy, which was made into both a film and a television series.

Written on one side of 8 sheets of paper in blue ink to Professor Miriam Heffernan of Brooklyn College. The letter is dated 1962. Also included is the original mailing envelope. Some horizontal folds from being mailed, slight rubbing, creases to the envelope, else in very good condition.
